Frequently Asked Questions
What’s in my hosting package?
Housing Transformation arranges and pays for flights and hotel accommodations and provides complimentary registration for the Summit. Breakfasts, lunches and refreshments are also provided throughout the events. So out-of-pocket expense for attending are next to nothing.
How are my boardroom presentations and 1-on-1 meetings determined?
Our team places you into a boardroom group with other guests who are non-competitive to you, from various-sized companies, and doing business in different areas around the country to create well-rounded, diverse boardroom groups. Sponsors get to view the groups we’ve created and select their top preferences to present to in a boardroom setting. For 1:1s, both guests and the sponsors have a say in the meetings. You will get to access our meeting scheduling platform and select “Meet” or “Must Meet” on our sponsor list. Our scheduling algorithm creates your meetings based on your preferences and the sponsors preferences as well.
How do one-on-one meetings work?
Guests will have up to 18 one-on-one meetings over the course of the event. As a guest, you’ll attend these meetings in the sponsors booths on the exhibit floor. One-on-one meetings are 15 minutes long and are determined by guest and sponsor ranking submissions. Sponsors use these meetings to determine possible business opportunities with guests by exploring guest needs and potential synergy with the sponsor’s specific products and programs.
What are boardroom presentations?
Boardroom presentations are 35 minutes in duration and take place in meeting rooms at the event venue. You’ll travel to eight boardroom sessions with a group of nine or more of your industry peers escorted by a group leader. Sponsors present on a variety of topics, including new products, new support or builder programs that create a bottom-line impact for guests and product road maps. Case studies on successful deployment of sponsor products and services are common as well. Some companies take a focus group approach for part or all the boardroom time slot, asking guests for feedback on products and programs under development.
How do I meet with sponsors not on my schedule?
You have time each day at the beginning of exhibit hours to seek out sponsors not on your list of scheduled presentations and meetings. You may also meet with sponsors during the general sessions and networking events. What’s required of me as a hosted guest?
Guests contractually agree to attend all 3 days of the Summit from start to finish, a schedule which includes six general session presentations, eight boardroom presentations from sponsors and up to 18 one-on-one meetings with sponsors in the exhibits. You are asked to come ready to engage, learn, and be mentally present for the full Summit duration.
