Housing Transformation arranges and pays for flights and hotel accommodations and provides complimentary registration for the Summit. Breakfasts, lunches and refreshments are also provided throughout the events. So out-of-pocket expense for attending are next to nothing.
Sponsors rank and select their meetings with you based on the info on your guest profile and preferences form (profile to be completed after you have signed up for the event). They seek guests who are interested in meeting with their company and are actively evaluating products in their category.
Guests will have up to 18 one-on-one meetings over the course of the event. As a guest, you’ll attend these meetings in the sponsors booths on the exhibit floor. One-on-one meetings are 15 minutes long and are determined by sponsors ranking submissions. Sponsors use the information in the guest profiles (completed after you have signed up for the event) to determine the best matches for their company. Sponsors use these meetings to determine possible business opportunities with guests by exploring guest needs and potential synergy with the sponsor’s specific products and programs.
Boardroom presentations are 35 minutes in duration and take place in meeting rooms at the event venue. You’ll travel to eight boardroom sessions with a group of nine or more of your industry peers escorted by a group leader. Sponsors present on a variety of topics, including new products, new support or builder programs that create a bottom-line impact for guests and product road maps. Case studies on successful deployment of sponsor products and services are common as well. Some companies take a focus group approach for part or all the boardroom time slot, asking guests for feedback on products and programs under development.
You have time each day at the beginning of exhibit hours to seek out sponsors not on your list of scheduled presentations and meetings. You may also meet with sponsors during the general sessions and networking events. Guests agree to attend the Summit from start to finish, including six general session presentations, eight boardroom presentations from sponsors and up to 18 one-on-one meetings with sponsors in the exhibits. You’ll also have open time during exhibit hours to visit with sponsors you’re not scheduled to meet.
